Nationwide News has seen documents detailing allegations of governance issues and overstepped boundaries in 2023 at the University Hospital of the West Indies, UHWI, by then-board chairman, Wayne Chai Chong.

According to the, Dispatcher there were 7 persons in bus and 8 persons in car including driver.
Well thinking Jamaicans are right to be outraged by the continued lawlessness and reckless driving on the roads.
Had this been another bus the outcome could have been very very different.
15 lives were put at risk by this driver, however, the Principal Director of a Civil Society Group chooses to respond in this manner. Puzzling. Yet not surprising.
Unfortunate comments by that Senator have reinforced my belief that things are so desperate on that side that their Reserves have been forced to enter the proverbial battlefield. At least *their* true intentions in the columns would be known by all.
I was hoping the Rev and Doctor would follow suit but time may not be on their side. Such is life.
Those comments about the gentleman chairing JAMROC by the PNP Senator reinforces my belief that nothing good comes out of the PNP. No matter how bright or accomplished they are. Nothing good comes out of that place.
@mcewan_janiel@strYker555 I’m not sure this project had much controversy associated with it if we’re being honest. People speak controversially about CRH; think it’s unfair to say that about WCH. Lovely pictures, nevertheless.
@JordanCrosskill Guess we’re done here. Others can look on and judge for themselves how unreasonable you are. The People spoke as recently as last September. The work presses on.
@JordanCrosskill I’m not naive enough to require perfection from my leaders. If you are perfect, maybe you should go lead. Suspect you wouldn’t be able to convince 10 people to vote for you much less an entire country. Lol.
@JordanCrosskill You’re too young to understand (as you’ve said), but being in the system for so long, what I see today is light years ahead of what obtained 10 years ago. THAT, I call progress. Not perfection. Perfection would be impossible after so many decades of neglect.
@JordanCrosskill You reason like a child for true. Devoid of any kind of contextual understanding of how the real world works. We have over 300 health facilities in the country and you expect the chief POLICY MAKER, to do the day to day to day duties of management/board at 1 of them?
@JordanCrosskill Nope. My standards are also high. But I don’t claim to impose perfection on anyone. Cause it doesn’t exist. Whether in my own life or in government. I compare alternatives to each other. The JLP is by far the better choice. Objectively.
@JordanCrosskill And stop tell me say me a look hug from man. I am also a man. Me nu do dem ting dehh. Maybe that’s your thing. I have worked in the system so I know what I am talking about. You are probably just upset your BS is being called out factually.
@JordanCrosskill You’re spazzing out man. I stated clearly the stuff you made up. UHWI provides a service to the people at a very subsidized rate. Should they increase the price so people can’t afford it and potentially die? My
Gosh, can’t imagine what you would then say about the government.
@JordanCrosskill These are legacy issues that started long before this administration, as the report makes abundantly clear. Did you read it?
Now, Tufton will have to clean it up once and for all. That’s how the system works.
@JordanCrosskill Than any other government. Sounds like progress (and success) to me. Not to mention record increase in salaries. Again, no other government has granted a bigger increase. Sounds like success.
@JordanCrosskill To the contrary, many things have changed in terms of infection, prevention and control. Which is how outbreaks that happen from time to time are cauterized and prevented. Human Resources is a longer term challenge that they are tackling. They have hired more doctors/nurses
@JordanCrosskill Cause that’s been said multiple times, and conveniently ignored by the PNP, who continuously, like you, state random figures everyday that seem to just go up and up without any sort of rationale.
@JordanCrosskill Do you accept that the main building of CRH will not cost anywhere near $23.5b? And that the figure includes rebuilding a mini hospital around the hospital so that services could be relocated and continued while the main building underwent renovations?
@JordanCrosskill Ah. There we go. Finally, you are out of the closet with your love for Manley/PNP. If we are talking fuk ups, he tops the list. Man changed his entire political philosophy after he decimated the country with communist BS just to regain power. Is that leadership failure as well?
