Forbes considers two main scenarios for the dictator's removal:

A swift assassination, followed by a bloody power struggle.

A quick tribunal and Putin's execution by the military elite; this would allow the system and the elites to take control, shift all blame onto the tyrant, and retain power under the guise of "democracy."
