Today, @BOU_Official and @mofpedU launched the pilot phase of Project Okusevunga. Once the project is publicly rolled out in 2026, the project will allow one to invest in government securities with as low as UGX 10,000 using mobile money.

Last evening, I had the honour of joining H.E. the British High Commissioner, members of the diplomatic corps, and friends of the United Kingdom as the guest of honor to celebrate the #KBP2025.

This occasion is a reflection of the deep and enduring bonds of friendship, cooperation, and shared values that continue to unite Uganda and the United Kingdom in pursuit of peace, prosperity, and sustainable development.

The Cancer Run, marking it’s 14th edition this year, is scheduled to take place on August 31st, 2025, under the theme #ManyCancersOneRun at Kololo Independence grounds and 40 towns and cities across the country.

@BOU_Official aims to empower Ugandans with knowledge about the importance of regular cancer checks and contribute to the establishment of a Radiotherapy cancer treatment facility, which will significantly enhance accessibility to vital treatment options for all.
