Today, France's Ambassador Virginie Leroy @VLJMLeroy and WFP Country Director Lauren Landis @LaurenLandis1 announced France's €2M contribution to WFP to reach over 70,000 people in 2026. This contribution will provide life-saving food & nutrition assistance for 40,000 newly-arrived refugees, specialised nutrition by promoting METU-1 - a locally formulated therapeutic food for 10,000 mothers & children, and provide school meals for 20,000 children in Karamoja.
