@anothercohen Buy a nice set of T-Fal pans and only use wood, plastic, or silicone for cooking to preserve the surface coating. No metal. Avoid throwing them in the dishwasher will also help keep the surface.
@RisingRealEst Philly does this in specific areas, under the guise of 'cleaning.' It's a sneaky way to clear out homeless people. Remember when the tunnel under the convention center had lots of unhoused people all the time? Daily pressure washing at 5am put an end to that.
@bikemamadelphia I live here, and the real reason this happened is that new neighbors took the initiative and organized the community like no one else ever had. The private security feels like a waste, but I will support their other fundraisers for improved lighting, benches, signage, etc.
@jenkbarr For these egregious parking offenders, the police told me to call 911 and ask them to send a unit to ticket the car. I do it all the time now.
@soren_iverson This is close to a real thing. It’s called “buying trade lines.” It’s where you pay a stranger with good credit to add you (temporarily) as an authorized user on a credit card to fix your bad credit.
@RisingRealEst Incredible. They chose a facade and stuck with it instead of picking four different facade materials all at once. Is this what progress looks like?
