#RHUB392 this graphic was going to be implemented into our report. This shows the differences between ductile and brittle fractures and shows the absorbed energy of each on a stress/strain graph. This shows how much less energy brittle materials can absorb before failure.

#RHUB392 The part that stood out to me in this week's reading was prepare your text for selective reading. Some people will only want specific details so it is good to use headers, bullets, tables ect. so that it is easy for the reader to find what they need.

Our reading this week had taught me about cherry picking information. Yes it may support your paper but it does not seem ethical. Omitting statistics that don't agree with your claims without telling your audience makes your your work not credible #RHUB392

I l used this graphic to show where to locate the information of how much pressure is needed to fill each tire. I wanted to use this because I wasn't really sure how to describe this area on the car. This way the reader can see the exact location of where it is found.

#RHUB392 One thing that stuck out to me was the usage of verbs. The reading gave me a good understanding of how to use strong verbs as opposed to weak ones and to avoid "to be" verbs such as "were" or "been". This lesson will help me write more effective sentences.

I read the example of windows 11. Im not a computer person but the text gave clear instructions that were easy to follow while also providing images of what exactly what im looking for. felt it was organized and I liked the sectioning of it. It gave me some ideas #RHUB392

One thing that is crucial to writing instruction is clarity and the use of visual aid. Another thing that was interesting was the passive voice, I for one have trouble at time with this at times, and I know that this paper will help me with it. #RHUB392

#RHUB392 I like that the lecture broke the conclusion into 4 parts, summary, limitations, recommendations, and justifications. The video made understanding the concept of writing technical data conclusions easier to understand.

#RHUB392 this is one of the pictures I was going to use for my paper. It is a broad look at all the components of the suspension system. I was going to use this to explain the basics of the system to show where they are all located.

#RHUB392 Something that I found interesting was the use of emphasis. This can be done by having something stick out over the rest. If we must use it sparingly or we risk the chance of over emphasizing, which may cause the audience to not focus on what is important.
