Putting aside the domestic violence one thing they have him dead to rights on is he has been knowingly lying about not knowing he had the Nazi tat.
It was previously reported that he used to call it “My Totenkopf” when he was in school. And now a woman he dated some years later says he used the same phrasing, and she knew he had it months before the story broke as evidenced by a text she sent after he launched his campaign, that NYT reviewed.
You’d have to believe she recognized it as a nazi tattoo and didn’t say anything, while the military historian obsessed veteran redditor who had it on his chest for 2 decades didn’t know what it was.
Explain how she knew he had it while he didn’t, years after they dated.
And yes I did consider that and dismissed it because the original quote from months ago was from an account of an interaction years before these two even met, at a college I don’t believe the woman even went to.

One item that backs up her account of things is the NYT was able to verify she knew about the Nazi tattoo before the story broke.
She claims he called it “my totenkopf” when they were together and he knew what it was and represented for decades, which he has repeatedly denied but he is obviously lying if you weren’t born yesterday.
The physical violence is a he said/she said though.
If drops continue shifting a bit more Democratic like this one, Steyer is on track to hit what he needs to get into the top two statewide. Buckle up for a long week(s) ahead.
Los Angeles City Late Mail
🔵 Karen Bass – 11,748 (36.9%)
🔵 Nithya Raman – 10,664 (33.5%)
🔴 Spencer Pratt – 6,433 (20.2%)
Raman’s rough benchmark against Pratt is 11.2%, so this is an 2-point overperformance, though turnout could change that.
@DrewSav The personality type that does these sorts of things is also the type arrogant/selfish enough to run for office with that baggage. They're narcissists, not actually concerned with a broader vision and long term societal goals. Folks can't understand because they don't share that.
@NateSilver538 Yup. Is there not a single DSA-adjacent person that the left would be comfortable with besides Platner in ME? It's completely possible he agrees to step aside and be replaced by the party with someone specific. Clinging onto him specifically seems irrational at this point.
Tillis is proposing an amendment that "prohibits federal funds from being used for ... the so-called anti-weaponization fund"
"All this amendment does is codify what I believe the policy of the DOJ is"
It redirects the $1.8 billion of the fund to the DOJ's fraud division
