I hate that I have to do this, it’s my least favorite part about my life. I knew my life would get even more dangerous when I announced I am suing California and began accepting invitations to speak on college campuses this semester.
I need to raise money again for security. Doing the right thing and exposing evil now puts your life in danger in today’s society. For example, a UC Irvine “lecturer” (teacher) is insinuating it would be funny to assassinate me and leftist are threatening to kill me constantly.
I will not cower to the radicals or the far left who threaten and plot to kill and destroy our country, yet the $30k–$50k a month it costs me just to stay safe doing my job is unsustainable. I make enough for my needs and my employees, but this added expense produces no return and is unsustainable on my own.
If you can donate, please donate here: https://t.co/t17KpayiXW Donations are tax-deductible and go strictly toward security/operations, anything helps 🙏🏼 If you cannot donate no worries please like and share this so more may see it!
God bless,
Nick
@nickshirleyy@RichardHanania I’m just curious if you checked that our government did stop payments? They may just be continuing to send these entities our tax dollars because it returns to their pockets!
On this Labor Day, I want to thank every Rhode Islander who gets up, goes to work, cares for others, builds something, teaches someone, creates jobs, or serves our community. Your work matters, and it deserves to be respected.
Before you vote, I’m asking you to take a little time this weekend and hear directly from me.

Now you know why our Social Security system is in trouble. Democrats allowed millions of illegal immigrants to receive benefits without any contributions to the system.
I had the opportunity to visit the Freedom 250 Mobile Museum during its stop in Cranston. The exhibits tell the story of how thirteen colonies fought for independence and built the nation we are blessed to call home.
As America celebrates 250 years, we should remember that freedom was earned through courage and sacrifice and every generation has a responsibility to protect it.
It was especially encouraging to see young people learning about our founding and the principles that made America free.
God bless Rhode Island, and God bless the United States of America.

A business owner in Providence reached out to me and asked me to come see what he and his employees have been dealing with.
So I went.
I walked behind the business. I brought a camera. And what I saw was disturbing.
This business has been operating, paying taxes and employing people while dealing with an encampment, drug activity and the problems that come with it right outside their door.
The owner told me he has been calling different offices for more than two years trying to get help.
That is not acceptable.
And I want to be clear about something else: the people living in these conditions need help too. Leaving someone on the street addicted to fentanyl or meth is not compassion. Moving them from one corner to another is not a solution.
We need treatment. We need enforcement. We need accountability.
And yes, Congress has a role.
A Congressman cannot order Providence Police to clear an encampment. That is not how government works.
But Congress does control federal funding. Congress funds the DEA and federal drug enforcement. Congress can strengthen efforts against fentanyl and meth trafficking. Congress funds addiction treatment and homelessness programs. And Congress has an obligation to ask where that money is going and whether it is actually working.
If Washington is sending millions of taxpayer dollars into programs that are not improving conditions on the ground, Congress should be asking why.
This is what leadership is supposed to be.
You show up.
You listen.
You see the problem for yourself.
Then you figure out what authority you actually have and you use it.
I saw what these people are dealing with today.
Rhode Island can do better than this.

I really enjoyed spending time with the people at pilgrim senior center. Thank you for allowing me a seat at your table and for the warm welcome and honest conversations about healthcare . Social security and Medicare/Medicaid. Real conversation about what a congressman can actually do in Washington is key to solving state issues
𝗥𝗵𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝗜𝘀𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁.
In Congress, I’ll fight to lower energy and healthcare costs, protect Social Security and Medicare, support small businesses, and strengthen RI jobs. Primaries come down to who shows up. I would be honored to have your vote.
🗳️ Vote early through Sept. 8
🗳️ Primary: Sept. 9

@McKay_Senate calls on Rhode Island state Rep. Julie Casimiro to resign before her term ends in January, after the Boston Globe reported that she's working remotely and living in South Carolina.
McKay states, “As she has personally chosen not to reside in Rhode Island, she does not deserve to retain the title or taxpayer funding (bi-weekly stipend) that comes with it.”
