OXFORD UNIVERSITY PROFESSOR FORCED TO CANCEL GENDER LAW LECTURES AFTER PRO TRANS ACTIVISTS STORM STAGE CALL HIM BIGOT AND DEMAND AUDIENCE WALK OUT BUT AUDIENCE TURN ON THEM INSTEAD!!
Associate professor of law Michael Foran aged 32 saw his series on sex gender identity and the law disrupted twice at Keble College Oxford.
On 29 May 2026 and again on 6 June 2026 two activists walked to the front of the lecture theatre called him transphobic and a bigot then read a statement telling the audience if you are here to challenge his ideas please join me in walking out and refusing to platform this bigot.
The angry crowd shouted at the protesters to leave the room with several audience members telling them to get out immediately and the disruptions lasted around 10 minutes each time.
Foran managed to deliver the first two lectures but cancelled the remaining two scheduled for 13 June and 19 June saying students should not face bullying or harassment at academic events.
The University of Oxford confirmed the talks continued after the initial interruptions and said it remains fully committed to freedom of speech and academic freedom.
Foran posted on X that the protesters chose disruption over genuine intellectual engagement and shared a clean recording of one full lecture to show what the content actually was.
Tell you what, the bar is low if her ‘full cooperation’ is a no comment interview.
Can’t think of a single occasion over 12 years of policing where I felt someone providing a no comment interview was ‘fully cooperating’
How dreadfully misleading yet again, how many of this number are actually out on the street?
Not Sgt’s/Inspector’s, or people making nearly 50k a year to deliver mail between offices.
"A quick look at Police Scotland’s website reveals that the Edinburgh City division has fewer officers available now than it did in 2017 (3591 vs. 3624 respectively) and nearly 400 fewer than in 2021 (3969)." https://t.co/nsyfzygZvn
@baseballscot@dabigpoppa2 Understandably, but unfortunately it’s the same people being shafted over and over when these things roll around … hence the burnout. There appears to be very little of sharing the burden of these events, created a massive divide from those in and out of uniform.
@dabigpoppa2@baseballscot I think the concerning thing is this has become pretty standard when these ops come around. Unfortunately our ‘cops’ who deliver mail for £50k a year and those in similar civilian roles won’t be working 11 days with one day off …
@ScotsCopper They’d rather chase you to get back quickly as a short term fix, you think they’re chasing those folk who’ve been yellow boxed for years on end to get back to any form of actual police work? Next joke please
I really wish they’d just front up with the truth, publish how many police officers are actually capable of deploying into frontline roles if required.
500 Police Scotland officers and staff currently on long-term sick leave. David Kennedy, General Secretary of the Scottish Police Federation, said members are at breaking point. "The numbers going off sick are only going to get worse." https://t.co/FIAMftevMj
Latest from the CC;
‘Scottish government funding allows us to continue officer recruitment for a full time officer establishment of around 16,500 while modernising the workforce to release experienced officers from roles which don’t need warranted powers’
Interesting 🤔
Everything that’s wrong with modern day recruitment.
Show me the surveys that say people would rather someone who looks like them turns up, than someone who’s capable of doing their job 🤦♂️
Los Angeles Fire Department Assistant Chief Kristine Larson says when people's houses are burning down, they want a firefighter to show up who looks like them.
Hot take: People just want someone to show up who will stop their house from burning down.
@wonderd87382893 Unfortunately if this was a game of poker, we’d have to pay to get back in at this rate. Also, there’s been months to plan ‘moves’ were now almost in November.
I take it with your pram full of toys you’re nowhere near the frontline.
"Chief Constable... I write to advise you that with effect from 5pm on Friday 1st of November all members will be withdrawing all goodwill in respect of policing. This will include actions to safeguard our members health and safety." https://t.co/N4UX3tb8R0 #PoliceOfficerPay
@ScotsPolFed Hopefully their view is similar to that of the officers who present them there, takes 2-3 business days to get processed despite there being more PCSO’s than there are on an average response shift …
@fudagee@ScotsPolFed@COPFS Not to mention having to drop them off home once they’ve been released on undertaking, after they’ve tried to kick your head in.
