This is hilarious... Enzo Maresca name-checks Leicester for his title wins, but he can't bring himself to say Chelsea and Club World Cup afterwards. 🤣🤣

Xabi Alonso has refused to rule out the possibility of Enzo Fernandez leaving Chelsea before the close of this summer’s transfer window.
“Enzo is a Chelsea player, he’s a top, top player,” the Chelsea manager said on Thursday. “He’s training really, really well since he started with the team, very integrated. We are happy with him and he’s getting ready for Monday.”
Asked if Fernandez had voiced a desire to stay at Chelsea, Alonso replied: “He’s training really well with a good attitude, and that’s what we want. He’s trying to do his best to prepare for the kick-off of the Premier League.”

👀 @Matt_Law_DT: If someone pays 75 million for Malo Gusto they looked at the eclipse a bit too long the other night, I think. But look again, highly available.
If someone negotiates 75 million for him then build him a statue, quite frankly.

🚨 “Enzo Fernandez this is a never ending story, Chelsea now have to decide what to do with him. Manchester City, according to Chelsea, need to now arrive with more than £120m or it’s going to be very difficult for them. Chelsea are happy to keep if they have to” (@FabrizioRomano@podcastherewego)
Man City are selling all their midfielders to buy Enzo Fernandez.
Reijnders gone.
Rodri gone.
Gonzalez ⌛️
What if we refuse to sell Enzo to them with a few days to transfer deadline? They will be f*cked. 🤔
🚨 Manchester City did not want to pay £120m for Enzo Fernandez and now Chelsea want MORE. City will NOT want to go to anything Chelsea may ask for now. (@SamLee@TheAthleticFC)
💰 @Matt_Law_DT on Enzo & Man City: If City decide they they want to bid once they've brought in some of their own money, they pretty much have to start from scratch. The thought is that they will have to pay more than that now. Or if it's not paying actually more, then how the payments are made would be far more favourable to Chelsea, whether that means more upfront and less add-ons, whether that means it has to be paid quicker rather than over however many years.

@kaimcfc_@City_Xtra It’s not a brief but it has been poorly worded. City didn’t want to pay the £120m that was valid til Friday. Chelsea now want more money. City didn’t want to pay the 120 so obviously don’t want to go to anything Chelsea may ask for now
Which Chelsea players could be leaving before the end of the transfer window?
Winger Pedro Neto has interest but it will cost around £100million to acquire him.
Nicolas Jackson, who is wanted by Aston Villa among a few teams, has a £65m price tag.
Chelsea want over £50m for Liam Delap and multiple Premier League clubs are keen, albeit it remains to be seen whether they are prepared to pay that price.
The fee for Marc Guiu has been set at £25m, but a move is not imminent.
