Hey @PrimeVideoCA
I'm a teacher in Alberta; can I get your permission to show Prime Video content in my classroom? Obviously non-commercial, not for profit, and for educational use only. Open to other provisions you have.
Hey @NetflixCanada2
I'm a teacher in Alberta; can I get your permission to show Netflix content in my classroom?
Obviously non-commercial use, not for profit, and for educational purposes only.
I'm open to any other provisions.
If someone tells you they work 12-hour days like it’s supposed to be impressive, respond with, “Sounds like your boss needs to hire more workers instead of making you spend 3/4 of your waking hours at work.”
Hey @RachelNotley@shoffmanAB
The @albertateachers association is doing a great campaign, posting tweets and Facebook posts to transparently combat the UCP's misinformation regarding teachers in Alberta.
If your team hasn't yet, check it out.
@AdrianaLaGrange 1. Pick a lane. Cases are exploding in schools. Figure it out.
2. Dow's decision to do this net-zero plant was due to the requirements set by the federal government. Nothing to do with Alberta whatsoever. This is where the oil is, those are the requirements to do business here.
@JordanWalkerAB Albertans pay the same amount of taxes to the federal government. We don't write them a cheque. We pay the same amount as every other Canadian.
This UCP campaign of misinformation is disgusting.
@AdrianaLaGrange 1. They're the Alberta Teacher's Association, not the "teachers union." Get it right
2. You did slash funding. Restoring some of it still equals a cut
3. Your curriculum feedback is that nobody wants to pilot it because it's so broken
4. More AB Ed funds came from Trudeau than AB
@jkenney You know what doesn't make sense is that Saudi Arabia has stakes in Canadian oil, and you Cons still think our oil is clean 😂

If you come here, you'll be supporting the UCP's anti-union, anti-public-healthcare stance. You'll replace your fellow nurses here who are bullied by the government. Do a quick google: "UCP vs public health" and DO NOT COME TO ALBERTA. Stand in solidarity.

Alberta Health Services is hiring outside of the province because nurses here refuse to work beyond their contract due to lack of support from AHS and the gov. The gov (UCP) wants a 3% wage rollback, plus benefits rollback.

@AdrianaLaGrange What a joke. Alberta teachers have wanted to speak with you for over a year. They have ELECTED MEMBERS who are CHOSEN to speak with you ON THEIR BEHALF..
This joke of a council you set up will obviously have a predetermined outcome.
You're so embarassingly out of touch. 🤦
@MattWolfAB If only Kenney had properly represented Alberta when he was MP, then maybe we'd have a better deal :( And it's federal jurisdiction, so nothing he can do now.
@erinotoole Oh stop whining. Instead, why not focus on provincial responses? Like the UCP in Alberta, completely botching it. Highest cases per capita in North America at one point. Embarassing.
@UCPCaucus@DavidStaplesYEG Kenney engineered the current formula that "screws Alberta." So why would he do anything different this time? Face it - Somewhere, somebody closely tied to the Premier or MLAs will be lining their pocketbook.
Plus, equalization is federal jurisdiction.
