@GovTimWalz "I recently signed three bills into law that promote...
✔️the murder of innocent children

"He who trusts in his own mind is a fool; but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered."
Proverbs 28:26
Not just instruction against trusting in our own reasoning, but a contrast. True wisdom is the product of trusting God's word *over* our own reasoning.
Just weeks ago, the pastor of Covenant Presbyterian (and father of one of the children killed yesterday) preached on Jesus as Death’s Conqueror, even as He wept before the tomb of Lazarus.
Pray for this family and for this church. God, be near.
Recently, I met with a Children's Ministry Director who was looking for advice on some of the most common issues in Kids Min. Here are 5 things I've learned, that I shared with her. 🧵

1. Sometimes, you don't have to get into the weeds about all the ways in which a thing is incorrect. Teaching what is correct will often rule out the incorrect.
2. Some errors are in-house errors. We should be careful to remember that in-house means we're still family.
Regarding Paul’s corrections to the church at Corinth:
“The best way to confront error is by teaching the truth. This was what Paul set out to do, and in doing so he addressed his readers as ‘bretheren.’” JW MacGorman
The two simple points being made here are easy to miss.1/2
