Hi,guys.This is Niu Lai (牛来) with English subtitles.
It is also worth noting that the film’s cover bears the line:“A cow can rehearse its life—in dreams…”
My English is pretty poor, and even with AI translation tools, it took me several hours to finish the subtitles. If you’re interested in Niu Lai too, I hope you enjoy it.
As for this screen-recorded bootleg（search on the Internet）, I agree that piracy is not a good thing. But it seems a shame for something this good to be limited to Chinese-speaking audiences alone. People elsewhere probably—perhaps, possibly—want to see it too. So I spent a few hours painstakingly translating the subtitles and decided to share them.
As for what this is trying to express, I found a tongue-in-cheek comment from the Chinese online community:
“It expresses the creator’s longing for home.”

至于这个作品表达了什么，我找了一个中文圈里很有调侃意味的评论：它表达了作者的思乡之情。
