Sir respectfully, I’m a born and raised American citizen.
Everyday I have and will continue to dedicate my life to the health and well being of our people and communities.
The UNI wrestling family is saddened to learn of the passing of two-time All-American Dion Cobb.
Dio competed for the Panthers from 1979 to 1983 and racked up 30 pins in his career.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.

Dion was truly one of the best people I have ever coached with or been associated with. His ability to communicate and motivate young people was unparalleled. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but the lessons he taught will live forever.
My biggest role model, inspiration, and supporter. The impact you have made on countless numbers of people through so many facets of life is remarkable. I am beyond proud to call you my father, and I promise to carry on your legacy. Until we meet again. I love you, Dad. RIP. 🫶🏽🕊️
