Whoohoo!
So excited to share a snippet of some music I've been working on for @ConvergenceMod! It was a fun challenge to take the Maiden Astrea theme used in the OG Caimar fight and mix it with the feeling of the Ancestral Spirit track from Elden Ring. More music coming (soon!)
Whipped up some atmospheric kid-core-sci-fi-lo-fi beats for Gamejam+! It's a great exercise to create something quickly without having the time to second guess your creative decisions. :)

@LilChurchLore I would love for them to bring something like this back in DLC. The merchants playing instruments throughout the game world was a really fun design choice- I’d love to see more characters and instruments populating the game!
Euclus mood board for @ConvergenceMod
I like making playlists of reference tracks when approaching a boss theme or video game area. There’s some fun stuff cooking for this one! ⚡️👾🪐
@MusicOfLee As a kid my mind was blown at OOT’s Ocarina-as-fast travel mechanic, and as an adult I’m blown away by how economical and varied the songs are composed.
@brooks_leibee Performance samples always keeps it springy and mobile, then you can add distortion/layers to it if you’re going for a particular effect or atmosphere!
For orchestral textures and sound design though, I gotta hand it to ProjectSAM. Love their drones, risers, and general SFX
@Asmonhair @ConvergenceMod Modding tools for adding custom music are still in the works, but you can check out the full track on my SoundCloud (this version is just missing the intro)! :)
Happy Alpha Test Release day! 💫
Even in it's earliest iteration, this project is full of jaw-dropping surprises and a clever re-imagining of the Lands Between, all from a team of developers that I'm proud to be a part of!
Working on more boss music for this as I'm tweeting. ;)
Champions, Welcome!
The public alpha test can now be downloaded on Nexus Mods: https://t.co/9lKzPVlzcC
Experience Elden Ring in a new light with hundreds of new spells, plenty of weapons, new gear, bosses, and much more.

Revisiting my gamer AND composer origin and studying the mix of sound design and orchestration in World of Warcraft. Forgot about this hidden Mozart reference and how it’s inclusion floored me back when I was young! #composer#VGM#videogamemusic#WoW

@VGMAcademy Such great OST’s! It got me into composing when I was in high school (made a big mod with original music for WoW) and I still go back to it as a gold standard for mixing strong musical motifs with sound design!
WotLK is the GOAT, love the titan music.
Also, for the Horde! 👹
@RoeTaKa Do a remix! I’ve got a handful of ER rearrangements sitting in my DAW that I wish I had the energy to finish 🫥
I remember being floored with how the music came together with atmospheric and gameplay for Elden Beast and Placidusax! Truly mesmerizing! Excited for DLC :)
@RoeTaKa Idk if this is an edgy take but Elden Ring was more hit or Miss musically for me. My favourite tracks were actually the ambient ones (Liurnia BG music was an earworm to me). The arrangements were a bit more chaotic and there wasn’t a huge dynamic range to the orchestra :0
@RoeTaKa I just loved the BB ost and even showed it to my mom haha. Alternatively, I love the chamber orchestra used for the OG Dark Souls and Demon Souls and actually think a smaller ensemble has a distinct character that works for those games as well!
@Ninetailedoni31@ConvergenceMod Hey! I use a mix of different sound libraries run through Kontakt. My personal favourite libraries are from Performance Samples (super realistic). Check out their freebies on their website if you’re interested. :)
@hellylovesrawk Maybe hold onto it as a musical idea you can pitch to another developer later on, and if a certain amount of time passes and you haven’t found a use for it yet, repurpose it for a library?
