Tbf I don’t think this is anything new. Artists have been copying each other for a Mille is or more. Before AI began generating solid work, designers and artist would just see a cool piece of work from someone else and then imitate it.
People can copy to an extent, but there’s always that extra thought out detail combined with mastery of fundamentals that sets apart original pieces from people trying to copy them.
