@susanjcarey@DamianGreen Burnham could do a great deal of good for the cause by asking @DamianGreen to lead the cross party task force on this issue. I’ve no idea how the odd shaped new Kent unitary authorities will cope without change to the social care system.
@susanjcarey@reformparty_uk@UKIP I am certainly no supporter of Cllr Randall, but as long as we have a FPTP voting system and a representative not delegated democracy, then I support the principle of voting for an individual not the label/party they choose at election.
@beatricegroves1@oldnurse55 I am (accidentally) growing a small patch of self-sown cowslips in my garden. I mow around them, and they return every year.
@Prosper_UK_ Two mistakes: Accepting a hard Brexit, giving ground to the MPs who have now joined Reform; Electing Johnson as leader. Openly stating these errors would be a massive boost to credibility for @Prosper_UK_
@JamesFl Be careful with your insults. I’m retired and grey haired, but definitely not a Reform supporter. Not all older people are wealthy or feel entitled. Don’t drive us away with your casual disdain.
@Cantwara_@Lee_MJ_Chapman You’re right, people don’t know our history. In primary school we were taught about ‘Angles, Saxons and Jutes’. That phrase stuck with me, although I had only the vaguest idea what it meant until much later in life.
@BritainElects@YouGov Approximately 45% broadly right wing parties, and 55% broadly of the left. I wouldn’t say UK voters have swung right, it’s just that the vote has splintered.
