"The doctor told me six months is all I have to spend with my children but I turned to Jesus, I said Lord please heal me and 3 months later, no doctor medication, I got healed"
A woman shares her powerful testimony 🔥✝️
In 2023, I applied for a position at Zenith Bank and was successful. I completed all the rigorous stages of the employment process and received my official offer letter from the HR department via email.
While my colleagues proceeded to Abuja to collect their posting letters, I declined to do so due to my strong passion for teaching. Fast forward to 2026, I have successfully completed my MSc in Mathematics and Education.
I am also a SEMO and I-STEM Champion, in addition to several other notable academic achievements.
I don't regret being a teacher!!!
Femi Falana stated that Ali Modu Sheriff, the former governor of Borno State, founded Boko Haram. He was arrested in Cameroon over his links to the group, but the Nigerian government stepped in and negotiated his release. Falana challenged Sheriff to sue him if the claims are untrue.
This is THE MAN OF THE YEAR.
Alex Onyia is vindicated! He is my MVP.
When he defended some of the children in his CBT Testing centers, he knew exactly what he was doing. Those children are on FIRE! Alex could vouch for some of them — because he knew that JAMB & WAEC are a walk in the park.
Next time, when he calls out WAEC or JAMB, listen! Don’t reduce everything to tribe or Miracle centers. He has invested heavily in those children. I won’t forget when he ordered (1000 pieces of low cost — fairly used Lenovo Thinkpad PCs from Germany) in a hurry.
He even promised to order thousands more! He keeps fighting for education. He fought for the students of UNN to have better hostels.
He hosts Math Olympiad & trains teachers & pupils. He single-handedly put education back on the map. His advocacy has become an established powerhouse. Alex is global now!
The Presidency are confused. They don’t know how to congratulate the children for winning 12 Gold medals & 3 silver at the STEM Olympiad in Rome, Italy. Congratulating the children could easily be interpreted as promoting Peter Obi.
The world-class performance of the children is why the government must begin to invest in education & sponsor education tournaments.
Their victory is why tribalism & bigotry must die for Nigeria to rise. Aso Rock would have taken all the glory. All they needed to do was reach out & bankroll the children. Congratulating the Geniuses is easy for Peter Gregory Obi.
After all, education is his strongest suit. 👏👏
The wait is over.
We have 2 golds: Chimdiebube Onwubiko and Don Anele Munachimso.
We are the best in the world!
Egejurum Onyedikachi’s name was omitted. He should have a gold.

I'm happy to have been awarded a fully funded Master's scholarship in Mathematics at the University of Calabria, Italy.
I would rather sell akara with dignity than tell lies to solicit laptop donations and then fail to deliver.
There is honour in honest labour. We must stop ridiculing people for earning a decent living.
The hand that earns honestly may be rough, but it never trembles in shame."

This is now the largest academic event in Africa.
Beyond a competition, this is a movement to identify talent, reward excellence, and inspire a new generation of problem-solvers.
We are building the greatest workforce in Africa within 10 years.
It was great joining Njideka Akunyili Crosby — a gifted Nigerian-born, Los Angeles-based artist — to unveil our first portrait together. This piece reflects so many chapters of Michelle and my story, and we’re thrilled that it will be on display in the Hope and Change lobby at the Obama Presidential Center starting this Juneteenth.
In 1999, a 16-year-old girl from Enugu, Nigeria won a green card lottery with her mother and moved to the United States.
27 years later, she painted the Obamas. The green card lottery. Think about that.
Her name is Njideka Akunyili Crosby.
Her mother, Dora Akunyili, was a professor of pharmacology who would later become one of Nigeria's most celebrated public servants, the woman who went to war against counterfeit drugs as NAFDAC Director General.
But in the late 1990s, Dora was just a mother who wanted her children to have options.
She entered the US Diversity Immigrant Visa Program.
The lottery.
She won.
In 1999, 16-year-old Njideka packed her things. Said goodbye to Enugu, to Lagos, to the life she'd always known.
She moved to America with her sister Ijeoma.
She took a gap year.
Studied for her SATs.
Took American history classes.
Then returned to Nigeria for National Youth Service.
Then came back to the US to start again.
She took her first oil painting class at a community college in Philadelphia.
Her teacher Jeff Reed saw something. He pushed her to apply to Swarthmore College.
She got in.
She studied biology and art.
She met a Texan named Justin Crosby and eventually married him.
She went to Yale for her MFA.
She built a career that redefined contemporary art.
And on June 14, 2026, 27 years after that green card lottery win, she stood in Chicago and watched Barack and Michelle Obama see their faces in her painting for the very first time.
A lottery ticket. A Philadelphia community college. The Obama Presidential Center.
Nigeria does not produce ordinary people.
Good news: Dr. Iheukwumere Ikechukwu of the Department of Microbiology at COOU has been sacked by the Governing Council of Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University.
He sexually abused students and engaged in different forms of misconduct.
Four other academic staff members were also sacked, including two professors.
We are restoring integrity in our universities, which will in turn improve the quality of our graduates.
Ifeyinwa Okwudo has now been expelled from Ezzy College of Nursing, Enugu.
She was the woman who indefinitely suspended Joy Ezeugwu for exposing the dilapidated state of Uwani Health Center, Enugu.
She also recently slapped a 9-months pregnant student three times.
To those of you oppressing our students: it’s only a matter of time before we shine our light on you.
A 24-year-old Polish tennis player arrived in Paris last week ranked 114th in the world, with no sponsors, no guaranteed income, and no certainty she could even pay for her hotel room.
She had to win three qualifying matches just to enter the French Open main draw. Prize money is only paid at the end of the tournament, so a Polish sports drink brand quietly stepped in and covered her hotel bill.
Her name is Maja Chwalinska. And today, she plays in the French Open final.
Before this tournament, she had won exactly one Grand Slam main draw match in her entire career. She had battled depression so severe that in 2021 she couldn't get out of bed. She underwent knee surgery in 2022. She spent years grinding through small tournaments across Europe just to stay afloat.
Then she arrived in Paris, won three qualifiers, and kept winning. Zheng Qinwen. Elise Mertens. Maria Sakkari. Diana Shnaider. Nine straight matches. One set dropped.
She is now the first qualifier in French Open history to reach the final. The last time a qualifier reached a Grand Slam final, it was Emma Raducanu at the 2021 US Open. Raducanu won.
By simply making the final, Chwalinska has earned more prize money than her entire career combined. The runner-up cheque alone is $1.6 million. If she wins today, she takes home $3.25 million.
One week ago she couldn't pay for her hotel room.
URGENT: My 16-year-old brother needs surgery to breathe again. Please read and share.

I REJECT THE CONCOCTED RESULTS OF THE ADC PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARIES
Following reports of widespread voter disenfranchisement in most parts of the country during the African Democratic Congress (ADC) Presidential Primaries yesterday, I unequivocally reject the concocted results being announced.
I had initially stated that I will only accept the outcome of the Primaries if the process was free, fair, and transparent, and I stand by my word. I will not accept results from a process that does not reflect the values that the ADC had pledged to uphold, to rescue Nigerians from the impunity and gross mismanagement that our country is currently facing in the hands of the ruling party.
There’s no way that about eighty percent of members of the party were not allowed to vote, and you expect me to accept such results. Then what makes us different from the others? The whole idea of the ADC was to give the Nigerian people a platform, to amplify the voices of the downtrodden, and make Nigeria a better place for everyone irrespective of backgrounds, ethnicity, or religion.
A party that criticizes the ruling APC and INEC for vote buying, rigging and writing of results, cannot be engaged in vote buying, writing of results, and other electoral malpractices that leads to the disenfranchisement of voters who are party members. This is not acceptable!
- Rt Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi
This 300 level Biomedical Engineering student named Josh from Federal University of Technology, Owerri was tortured in the hostel by Man O war for cooking at midnight.
I heard they have been terrorizing students.
This is extreme.
The university authority has to intervene.
There is something quite disturbing about Maduka University, Enugu and i think it's time we beam our light there.
Students are forced to pay N2 million if they ever request for transcript. Whether you are in 100l, 200l etc.
The school is not yet accredited by MDCN for Medicine and Surgery and yet they are still accepting admissions and making life a living hell for students that wants to transfer to other universities.
This is extortion and has to stop!
