@Steve9zzj @regionofpeel @SherefSabawyPC @fordnation I’m sick of Mississauga taxpayers paying 59 cents of every dollar spent by the Region of Peel while Caledon and Brampton together pay 41 cents, have a bigger population using services and enough votes to defeat us on any subject they choose. Also tired of trying to explain this.

A solid, factual and in depth article by the STAR’s Noor Javed and Jim Rankin on Peel Regional Police extraordinary 23.3% increase on the 2025 Budget. That translated to 5% on Mississauga’s property tax bill. Our residents paid 62% of the massive increase and Brampton only 38%!

@carolynhparrish Yeah I know although I personally haven't seen it at the house (and even didn't receive a peel region notice last week apparently) so I'd create a multi-channel strategy so it hits all areas. Many discussions on nextdoor etc that don't understand either so just feel TV is missing
