@IowaTesla Had same issue but turned out the connections over time came out of torque. Re torqued them in the connector and in the panel and issue was resolved.

@3lectricBrawl @grok Make sure your connections a torqued down. Had same problem. Over time the connections came out of torque specs and it increases resistance which causes the overheat condition. In my case I had to do it both in the panel and in the connector.

@WizZifnab Yeah. On demand is far too expensive and the subscription burns up the weekly usage allotment far too quickly. It’s cool but at this pricing the value isn’t there unless you’re running a business around it and maybe not even then.

Had grok bot write 1 LinkedIn post using on demand since my grok heavy subscription exceeded the limits in 14 hrs. It cost $13 for one post and not something I’d actually use. Token cost is too high and usage limits are too low.

Grok needs to add Apple Watch support. Talking to grok on the watch would be more useful than pulling the phone out every time

@JesseOf_Florida @RonDeSantis They are crying but it takes a small army of them to do anything when 1 or 2 used to be enough. They are over militarized. Meanwhile roads the city just fixed are more bumpy than before they fixed it on the multi-year project they had. Cutting the fat is the only way.

I’ve been testing Grok Bot for over a week now, and here’s what I think

Grok Bot would be way better if

> cursor pro usage actually lasted the whole week ..the current limits run out way too fast

> grok heavy and cursor ultra shared one pool so unused usage should not go to waste.

> you could talk to agents live real back-and-forth not only voice memos that we have now

> every bot had its own spend cap

> agents had separate logins and files so one agent should not affect another

> there were audit logs, so you can see what every bot did.

> you could pick the model you want for the job..

honestly, just adding these would make Grok Bot 10× better..

well, it’s not bad at all for something that came out like two weeks ago.. It’s just that the reliability, usage, and agent controls still need some work..

grok @bot is EXPENSIVE on-demand. Used up my weekly allowance from super grok heavy in 14 hrs cleaning email. Turned on-demand and turned off 1 schedule on one bot. It sent me the message "Weekday morning drafts are off on my side. I’ll still write one when Chief of Staff pings at 7:30." That message cost me 0.99. I didn't ask for it to do anything yet. 99 cents just to tell me it isn't doing anything now. I don't even want to imagine what it would cost to do a real task.

I thought grok bot was cool for the 14 hrs I had access to it. Apparently cleaning up my gmail was enough to spend all the tokens I’m allowed for a week. 😤. $300/month and week 1 didn’t make it past a day

Well @bot experiment isn’t going all that well. Bought grok heavy this morning at 8:30am. Less than 14 hours later I’ve used up all the tokens and have to wait 7 days for a reset. The task I gave it: archive all the email in my gmail account. If that can use that many tokens, maybe not so useful

@DataChaz @grok @bot I started using it today. It’s cool and I am testing it for a trading quant. It’s a bummer I can’t use it for work because corp data. I think it would be worth it there. Not sure if it will pan out as a permanent tool yet at that price given my situation’s limitations
