A scoop from me: CBS-owned local stations' election coverage will be sponsored by DraftKings, a deal that has stirred concern inside the company. https://t.co/qW8QTBotIf
A man attending the Theranos trial told me and other reporters covering the case that his name was “Hanson,” and that he fixed up old cars for a living. He said he was a “concerned citizen,” and that the judge had it out for Elizabeth Holmes.
I had questions, so I looked into him and found he was a San Diego hotelier who collected antique cars.
His son was Billy Evans, Holmes’ romantic partner and the father of her children.

Netflix made dog shit content for years and now they’re going to hire the Warner maestros after David Ellison fired them. Seems like Netflix got at least some good assets from Warner.
Netflix is evolving right before our eyes. Mass layoffs, including top executives. Yes, a company obsessed with algorithms, data and AI is downsizing, while suddenly and without warning, reporting theatrical box office numbers. This is a larger tell than you think.
Perhaps Netflix is discovering something Hollywood has known for a century… technology can predict behavior, but it can’t manufacture cultural relevance. That’s theatrical. Always has been. And they’re finally acknowledging that.
Ironic because Netflix spent two decades convincing Hollywood that the theatrical model was becoming obsolete… and now it’s experimenting with the very system it helped undermine.
85 years after establishing themselves as two of the top names in movies, Abbott & Costello have once again proven to equal BOX OFFICE MAGIC. Hollywood has taken note with producers scrambling to find reasons to insert A&C clips into upcoming releases.
@TheeNelDog I gave up on them already, wouldn’t be surprised if Dak did too. The play calling and schemes were awful, even Joe Montana would struggle.
The whole run of Nathan is absurdly good.
