I have no personal stake in this debate, but since I was tagged, I’ll chime in. This op-ed makes no sense and it’s being promoted by the director of an organization with far-left ties. Definitely don’t think they have America’s best interests in mind..

Rescheduling cannabis from Schedule I to Schedule III doesn’t legalize it—it keeps it as a controlled substance while opening the door for medical research in the U.S. Right now, we’re lagging behind other countries that are advancing cannabis research. This isn’t a fringe issue: roughly 80% of the public supports rescheduling, including 70% of Republican voters. 🤷🏻‍♂️
