The Minister of Public Safety has once again announced that individual firearm confiscations will proceed full steam ahead this fall. The so-called “pilot project” in Cape Breton is reportedly working — with residents “cooperating” — and police are already on the ground doing the necessary work. A report to the House of Commons is coming soon. I'm sure they have a room already booked for the victory dance.
