I just exercised my right as a Member of Congress to conduct an unannounced oversight visit of the ICE field facility in Baltimore. The staff I met with respected my right to visit, but what I saw was disgraceful. Kristi Noem has a budget of $75 billion she could use to ensure humane conditions, but we saw 60 men packed into a room shoulder-to-shoulder, 24-hours-a-day, with a single toilet in the room and no shower facilities. They sleep like sardines with aluminum foil blankets. Whether it’s for three days or seven days, nobody would want a member of their family warehoused there. The room set aside for dangerous criminals and violent offenders was empty. We’re demanding immediate answers and action.

There seems to be some confusion about the SAVE America Act. If it becomes law, you will NOT be able to vote with your drivers license alone.
You’d need:

1. A passport, which more than half of Americans don’t have and costs at least $130
OR
2. A birth certificate PLUS your photo ID with matching names, which nearly 70 million married women lack
OR
3. Military services papers (not a military ID alone) with sensitive info.

🚨BREAKING: Gov. Tim Walz shares details of his call with Trump.

Trump blinked. The good people of Minnesota are pushing aside Greg Bovino and Kristi Noem.

Walz had asked for the call a while back, but today Susie Willes called Walz to say that Trump wants to speak with him, and they called back minutes later.

He started off with asking that the number of agents must be reduced because the situation is unsubstantiable, which Trump agreed with.

Governor Walz also requested that Minnesota state investigators be included in the investigation into the deaths of Alex Pretti and Renee Good, and Trump responded that he would consider it.

Walz gave the interview to Minnesota's local MPR News.
