New footage obtained by B’Tselem uncovers the moments when the Abu Haikal family was shot. Seven-month-old Sam Abu Haikal was killed in the shooting, and both his parents were injured. The footage clearly shows that the Israeli soldier fired at the car as it was slowing to a stop. The car was far from the soldiers and posed no danger to them whatsoever.
Moments later, in another video obtained by B’Tselem, seven-month-old Sam’s father, Fahed, is seen just after his son was shot. Fahed is holding baby Sam in his arms, trying to stop the bleeding from his head with his hands, while Sam’s mother, Daniyah, who was also injured by the gunfire while holding her son, is seen sitting on the ground, next to the car.
Last Friday, 5 June, an Israeli soldier fired at a Palestinian family driving home from a family visit, as they sat in their car in the Tel Rumeidah neighborhood in Hebron. The family was shot as the car was slowing to a stop at the soldier’s command. Sam, a seven‑month‑old baby who was in his mother’s arms in the back seat, was struck in the head and pronounced dead shortly afterward. Sam’s parents were also injured by the gunfire; his mother is still in the hospital. After the shooting, the soldier who fired and another soldier who was with him left the scene without checking the car or offering any assistance to the critically wounded baby or to his mother.
In the past two and a half years, Israel has killed tens of thousands of children in Gaza and the West Bank. The immunity it gets from the international community has led to a reality where, under Israeli rule, Palestinian lives are entirely disposable – even a seven‑month‑old baby.
@masquedelapeste Le bon système pour que le cadre surpayé pour faire des réunions se barre à 60 ans et la femme de ménage travaille jusqu'à la mort, le rêve
@mylovedes_1 I was living with 5 other people. We would take turns using the washing machine and putting clothes in baskets if the owner was away.
One moved out and the day I put the new girl clothes in her basket she started screaming like a demon and threw all my clothes around the house
@Loudwindow To be fair to the men, they were living in hamacs in a ship for several weeks and arrived in some very humid places compared to most of Europe. Anybody would stink like a dead ferret in those conditions
@m9QD6L4IgW@MrnllMtt Enlighten me, how do you budget say, electricity and gas, when you're on the national fixed minimal price and your bill tripled since 2022?
How do you budget when the average rent around your place went up 200€ in 4 years?
If your answer is "leave somewhere else" fuck off
@m9QD6L4IgW@MrnllMtt I spend 2/3 of my net on housing and bill because rent is an incompressible charge that can only be alleviated by moving 50km away in the middle of nowhere.
My friend in Paris also spent 2/3 of his net on bills and rent.
That's the norm living in a big city
@Skyl1neLass@ShinMarginalScr He's the white man yelling that focusing on all poor people is bad because it loses the racist vote
He skipped anti racism votes and demonstrations saying he had a football match

@stendhalist Really weird how the website where the most present nationalities are Americans, Germans and Indians is massively pro Israel innit?
Also most of the pro Israel posts are made by bot accounts
@ditz_carlton I live in front of a store so I just grab whatever I need for the night and next day lunch when coming back home from work
