@amigurumedic i met my partner in college (at a party!), and he's been overwhelmingly supportive of me--trans non-binary, grAce, and now med student identities and all. 4.5+ years later, 2 of which were long-distance, we are as queer and in love as ever!

Our current justice & policing system has failed. It has failed to keep us safe, even in our own homes. It has failed to protect Black people or stem the tide of racist police violence. And today, it has failed to deliver justice for #BreonnaTaylor.

The fact no officers have been charged for the murder of #BreonnaTaylor is a reminder that while we can do great work to make our spaces anti-racist, these changes are insular and do little to address the systemic injustice that persists beyond the walls of our institutions.
