@ianmiles A friend of mine had this very thing happen to her. Once the intruder came through and into her house she shot him dead while she had 9-1-1 on the line. Two small children were in bedrooms behind her and her husband was not home.

The gang banger who murdered him was a violent offender, let out of prison early due to AB47 and other soft on criminals legislation. The killer violated his parole no less than 6 times in the months leading up to the fatal ambush of Officer Boyer who showed up to an early morning traffic collision to render aid. EOW 02/07/2017. Kamala Harris, Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom are responsible for this, and so many other needless deaths in California. Officer Boyer, a 27-year veteran, was 53-years-old, a father of three and grandfather of two when he was murdered, due to California's outrageous criminal justice failures.
