@levarburton I'm behind a few years on LEVAR BURTON READS. Just heard FIRES by Rick Bass. Why was the question never asked about why she was playing with matches? Otherwise, your work gives me so much peace. Thank you.
@medievalhistory If it makes a difference, I took extra HIS courses to complete my degree. 1 was ISLAM IN AFRICA. Already knew I knew little in life generally. Was humbling to learn how little that was. A new world was opened to me and I try to take that lesson everything.
@5MinMedievalist Just listened to latest episode. Great as always! Extra info about breastfeeding in Norway during medieval/modern times. Little info about medieval times - the plague hit the area extremely hard with a 50-70% population loss. (1)

new normal. But I suspect some saw them as a mechanical/robotic intrusion not worthy of respect. Will self-driving cars earn respect? Will different cultures treat them differently?
Also! Wrote my masters on Octavia Butler. Was thrilled when that episode began as I was shopping.
@emolinsky Still slowly moving through @ImaginWorldsPod. Now part way through 2016. Yeah! Had a thought snout the robot
/AI episode. It was mentioned that we will probably treat self-driving cars like crap bc they're difficult to anthropomorphise.... 1/4
I can remember the rage a few drivers had at my husband and ieven though we pulled over ever few km to let others pass. Luckily no guns in Norway, but a lot of angry honking/tailgating/body language that scared me. Now, 10 years later there's none of that. E-cars are seen as 3/4
