The findings are shocking and the aftercare for your mental well-being is minimal. depression can double after a MC and suicide quadruple… something needs to change!
A year ago today, we launched our campaign to #ChangeTheMiscarriageStory.
While we’re proud of the progress made so far, we know there’s more to be done. That's why our experts are working tirelessly behind the scenes to make it happen.

Recently Iv had a really traumatic experience where I’m recovering well physically but really struggling for the first time in my life mentally, the lack of resources & support is shocking. I now understand why patients feel so let down a lot. #1in4

From sitting in the classroom and contemplating if life would ever accept me for having a stammer, to going to university and graduating. I can’t sum up in words how proud I am and how much my teachers’ changed my life. You can truly achieve anything you put your mind to!
@ChelseaFriarOT Jackie pool was used a lot in this area when I was on placement. A lot around dementia and different types but also other MH conditions. The people I saw often where Dementia with Lewy bodies so good to understudy the hallucinates. Moho/mohost we also used for assessments x
Today made me realise how much I miss the rehab side of OT- seeing one of our newly diagnosed dementia patients in the cafe having a coffee with a nurse made me feel so warm inside- never write off patients because of their diagnosis- they are so so much more 💚💚
@Alys_OT Also saw a lot of delirium. Look at frailty at the front door. Had to do quite a bit around mca in my nhs setting and determined capacity. Honestly this placement taught me so much ☺️ x
