@ThatEricAlper Garth Brooks, hands down. I was about 12 (1989?) at a county fair. He signed a cassette for me, then talked with me for a bit about music, how great it was to entertain others by singing our hearts out, and how much I wanted to sing at county fair's one day. (I didn't.)

@aradiawitch Also everything costs more depending on where you live. I paid far less for witchy books in Lawrence Kansas than I did Kansas city Missouri, and the two towns are like an hour drive apart.

@aradiawitch I'm in the US, and just like everything else, the prices are higher than makes sense. Cover prices on most witchcraft related books are over $20.

@WeirdAndWitchy At one point I chose the name Emaleth Summer. It was really kind of silly, I got the name Emaleth from one of my favorite witchy fiction series. I quit using it along the way, and now I use a combination of my nickname with my chosen spelling and the maiden name of my great-gma.

@EmpressAkara I agree and disagree. I agree that there is no replacement for therapy when it comes to working through real life trauma.

But when you have witchy trauma you need a witchy solution. That is what I think of as "shadow work."

For me it took both to get my power back.
