I am extremely disappointed that the court has refused to put a stop to Al-Quds Day, which has long been a venue for antisemitism, hatred, intimidation and the glorification of terrorism.
While the judge cited Canada's Charter of Rights and Freedoms, when we talk about rights we need to be clear that every person has the right to safety and security. We need to be clear that no one in Canada has the right to incite violence or free licence to intimidate and hate. The judge also said that Toronto Police Service do not need an injunction to preserve the peace. That's unbelievable! If that's the case, I fully expect that the police will immediately intervene at the first sign of hate, violence or glorification of terrorist organizations.
I won't stop working to put an end to the hatred and division that runs too rampant on Canada's streets. I won't stop working to protect the greatest province in the greatest country in the world.
Toronto’s bid to host the Defence, Security and Resilience Bank has the support of finance, defence, industry, academic and government leaders from across Ontario.
With this support, and a world-class Ontario workforce that is second to none, there’s no better place in the world than Toronto to host the bank.

Hey Canada, I've told everyone I know and care about to immediately run out and buy @darrellbricker and John Ibbotson's latest book "Breaking point". As I cried through most of it, re-affirming everything I instinctively knew about what was happening, they end with some solid recommendations on how to move forward. If you are on my Christmas list, now you know what you are getting! 🇨🇦 [PS - let's just build the damn pipelines!]
@MercedesGlobal Hey @MercedesGlobal I'm just coming out of the fog of this myself, at 41. You will find your own way and it'll be magic. Go easy on yourself and reach out with anything, Canada needs you back when you're ready xoxox
It’s looks like I pulled in more like 6:40 something it’s hard to tell, I see a call I made shortly after 6:40 explaining what had happened, so yeah earlier than 7am.
Hey friend. My flight is 820am this morning. I pulled into valet about 7:01am bc well I was late and needed to charge my car. As I got out of the car I heard about 8 shots. People threw themselves on the ground and a ton of police and ambulance responded no kidding 30 seconds later. I heard it was a targeted shooting right in front of the drop off area in front of valet; like the doors where you enter the US side. I was so scared my reaction was to get through security fast where I knew there would be no guns. I am still in shock that this happened in Toronto.
Police let us exit cars and walk to the terminal now. Cars were still held. I think I saw over 30 police vehicles. Hearing one person confidently say what happened but who knows. #pearson
I’m not shocked this happened in Toronto. I do follow the news, I wrote the tweet quick as I was getting on my flight as I didn’t see any chatter about what happened online and guess truthfully I was just a bit personally shocked to have been so close to it. Toronto has lost its feeling of safety slowly over time and it makes me sad. That’s all.
