Honestly whether I've had bad luck (I have) or good luck (I have not) in this first Champions GC it doesn't matter, what matters is that for some reason they thought that not being able to choose music would be a good idea for the competition. I personally enjoy swapping music.

Hot Take: Incineroar isn't a good choice for new players learning to play VGC. Instead I'd recommend a fast, high offense team to get started.

My feeling into the meta for Pokemon Champions is that almost every available mon can be used and is actually very viable.

The lack of items however I can understand. While frustrating and limiting, it serves as an easier transition for new players to start trying VGC formats without being overwhelmed.

My only gripe about Champions is the current music availability. I know they'll include more in time but I'm a guy who loves to battle to good music, there's a real lack of that currently.
