Friends… Zerodha and some other brokers offer a very useful feature called MTF (Margin Trading Facility)…Although I have never used it before, it allows you to buy a larger quantity of stocks with less of your own funds and hold them for an indefinite period, as long as you keep paying interest—approximately 14% annually—on the additional funds provided by the broker.

This facility can be useful for value/fundamental investors in cases where they have very high conviction in the long-term prospects of a stock…However, in my view, MTF should not be used for intraday or short-term trading.
