This Immigrant nailed it.
Canadians traded one of the most stable, competent leaders we’ve had in decades — Harper, who steered us through a global financial crisis without the chaos everyone else faced — for Trudeau. A man who turned a functional country into a complete mess.
Then we sat back and let them break the immigration system on purpose.
We were told it was compassion when they brought in real refugees under Harper. Trudeau flipped the script. He took rich people who weren’t refugees, took their money on the side, gave them status, and we as Canadians just nodded along because “one brown person is as good as another.”
Same scam ran out of Punjab. Jagmeet Singh and his Khalistani lobby promised poor and middle-class families a better life here if they paid up and sold everything. Now those same families are watching their daughters work the streets because there are no jobs and the Canadian dream they were sold doesn’t exist anymore.
The only people who won? The corrupt politicians who lined their pockets on both ends.
Trudeau’s crew. Jagmeet’s crew. They broke this country and they broke a lot of people who came here looking for something better.
We let it happen. That part stings the most.

REPORT: Jason Schreier on PlayStation’s decision to end physical game media🚀
✅Sony considers their digital player base is large enough to do without those who continue wanting physical discs
✅They won’t change their retail distribution
✅Stores sell empty boxes with only download code
✅They’re convinced that over time, players will accept a 100% digital gaming future
✅They don’t think it’s necessary to maintain contact with fans
✅They trust the strength of their brand and the loyalty of their community, and imagine they will continue to support their digital games
Regarding profitability:
✅When Sony sells a first party physical game to a retailer, the retailer gets around ~30% of the sale price
✅Digital helps them keep 100% of it
✅They expect to significantly increase their profit margins
This is absolutely disgraceful to read if true. I’m genuinely repulsed by Sony💿
This is so well said. 😂
Maybe Sony doesn't realize that:
1. Most of us have a backlog bigger than our life expectancy
2. The jump from PS5 to PS6 is going to feel a lot smaller than previous generations (law of diminishing returns at this point)
3. If they want us to stay engaged, maybe... I don't know... give us games? Good games that don't take 7+ years to make. And maybe bring back some of the creativity and variety that made the PS1–PS3 eras so special.
Sony needs us more than we need them.
They created so much value over the last 30 years that plenty of us have enough incredible games to play for decades. If the future is "$1,000+ digital-only console, fewer games, longer waits, and less ownership," that's not exactly a compelling value proposition.
GG, Sony. Thanks for the memories. 🤣
Sony's legal problems in the Netherlands are growing fast. A consumer group representing around 1.7 million players is seeking over 400€ million, arguing that Sony abuses its control over the PS store by keeping digital game prices artificially high. They also claim that moving away from physical discs gives Sony even more control over pricing and access to games.
This is a real embarrassment for Sony. Years of pushing players toward a closed digital ecosystem have finally caught up with the company, and removing physical discs only made the monopoly accusations even stronger. Whether Sony wins or loses in court, this is a terrible look for the brand.
@Stallion83 Except X-box has next to zero shelf space in any store & has been leaning heavily into “games as a service” for the past couple years.
Honestly it looks like Nintendo might be the only option…. But for how much longer anyways
David Hayter, the iconic actor behind Metal Gear Solid’s Snake has rejected Sony’s push for ending physicals media in January 2028
He stated: “No disc, no buy”🫡💿🐍📦
“well if we start removing politicians accused of sexual assault, we’d have to remove most of them...”
YES. THAT’S HOW ACCOUNTABILITY WORKS.
NOT HAVING RAPISTS IN OUR GOVERNMENT SHOULD BE THE BARE. F*CKING. MINIMUM. 🤡
Mark Carney said that its not fair that small businesses dont get bailouts
...and that he doesn't like bailouts
and one of his first actions as PM was to bailout a condo developer and then shut down the resulting ethics investigation into it.
This woman is saying what way too many Canadians are feeling right now.
Single income household. Two teenage kids half the time. Average job well under six figures. Barely making ends meet. And she got **zero** from the so-called grocery rebate.
She thought she’d qualify. She didn’t. And she’s asking the question a lot of us are asking: who the hell actually got it?
Let’s be honest about what this really is.
They took the old GST/HST rebate, slapped a new name on it, and now act like they’re handing out some big win. It’s lipstick on a pig. The government taxes the middle class into the ground, creates a failed economy where people can barely afford to feed themselves or their kids, then turns around and gives back a few pennies while puffing their chest like they’re the saviors.
Meanwhile they flood the country with people who’ve contributed **zero** dollars into the system, hand them housing, food, clothing, education and full healthcare access while our own hospitals, schools and housing are completely overrun. Some have been here for years and still contribute nothing. Others should have been sent home long ago but are still living off the taxpayer’s back.
And the people who actually built this country? The ones working full-time, paying the bills, raising kids on one income? They get nothing. Many are losing their homes. Many can’t afford to eat properly. And they’re told to be grateful for a renamed rebate that was never meant for them in the first place.
This isn’t compassion. This is engineered decline.
You don’t get to destroy affordability, flood the system, and then act like the hero for giving back crumbs.

🚨 Police showed up at her door with Flock camera “proof” she stole a package.
She had timestamped video from her truck + neighbor’s doorbell proving she wasn’t even there.
Cop refused to watch it: “That’s not my job.”
Charges dropped only after weeks of fighting.
