@beyondwaiting The replies that really get me are from the people who say they have kids. It sounds like they’re projecting or arguing with something that wasn’t even said. Weird phenomenon that I see really often…
@lulu_majnun@owenbroadcast Yes, this. Adults barely want that type of convo with other adults! Short and sweet with consequences/connection seems most effective. Words are great, but they can also be empty.
@RamblingSankta@owenbroadcast You work on one behavior at a time (i.e. hit your brother and you'll make his bed). It's replacing an empty "sorry" with positive action. And they get to choose between the negative and positive consequence. So I think it's framed rather clearly.
@TheMuppetPastor Thank you, Skeletor. I know what it's like to be closed off and judgemental toward others and their apparent sin. We must have pity and pray for the "judges". There's lots of anger and hurt and pride behind those pointer fingers (ask me how I know).
@Hartlander_@MrsCMFrancis Your beliefs are vague. You've given no clarity on them and have only attacked what you perceive are the beliefs of others based on your own understanding. I get it. I've been guilty of this as well.
