@nycexpatmom So depressing. When I walk my dog, more than 50% of people are staring at their phones while walking their dogs on a beautiful morning. Wake up, people! You’re zombies
@StreetsblogNYC This is such a niche thing. It’s like a NYT anecdote that is spun to represent the culture at large. Parents are too busy to coordinate a bike bus unless you are laptop class where you return home or have a workplace you can safely park your bike
@nycexpatmom One other surprising thing are the parents still involved in their schoolwork in college. Unless your kid has a learning or other disability it does them no favors to be monitoring their workload, yet, more common than you’d think
@EmilyGouldNYmag A similar question would be why are all the education activists who push for changes to NYC public schools either childless or send their kids to private? (Including current chancellor). No skin in the game = terrible decision making
@nycexpatmom@BrentAWilliams2 I got a text message from a different dept at NYU Langone w a piece of info I had told another doctor at an appointment. I’m pretty sure the whole conversation was AI transcribed. It was so specific.
@feelsdesperate You should read the book We Have Never Been Woke by Musa Al-Gharabi. You will find the keys to understanding this 4th awokening period we’re in
