@SRxTrades Volume drying up in the handle is definitely the part I’d be watching. $194 looks like the obvious trigger, but I’d want to see a clean breakout with volume before trusting it.
#Nvidia hit $228.72.
3 reasons I’m still bullish: #Nasdaq 100 strength, Q4 seasonality, and a lower valuation than AMD/Broadcom.
1 risk: customers shifting AI workloads to custom chips.
I checked the sector multiples on Libertex.
@SJosephBurns Useful framework. Before taking the setup, I’d quickly check: are highs/lows actually trending, are the moving averages sloping, is ATR expanding, and are breakouts getting follow-through? If those don’t line up with the regime, even a familiar setup can have very different odds.
@SJosephBurns The cross itself is almost the least interesting part. I’d watch what happens after it: does the fast EMA keep separating from the 20, or do they flatten and compress again?
Brent pulled back to ~$106, but the physical market still looks tight.
Petroline: offline
US-China tanker freight: $39M → $44.8M
Oman-Brent spread: ~$27
I’m watching Brent spot/forwards on Libertex alongside these signals.
Slides below 👇
Brent is at $102.5, while Aug 2027 trades near $80.4. That $22 backwardation says the market isn’t repricing oil forever. It’s paying heavily for barrels now.
With Hormuz flows roughly halved and spare routes already stretched, the real signal to watch isn’t spot price.
@BlogJulianKomar I look at the stock first. A clean pattern in a weak name is still a weak setup.
Relative strength, liquidity, momentum, and a real catalyst usually tell me whether the pattern is worth trading at all.
@BlogJulianKomar I don’t change screening criteria on a fixed schedule. I adjust them when volatility, market regime, or leadership changes.
I use Libertex as my trading platform, but the scanner is still just a filter. Price action has to confirm the setup.
@mind1nvestor Low RSI alone isn’t enough for me. I’d rather see NKE build a base, reclaim key levels, and show improving momentum first.
Same principle I use when looking at setups on Libertex: oversold can stay oversold much longer than expected.
AI is making it easier to build Expert Advisors in MT5 without deep MQL5 knowledge.
But generating code and building a strategy you’d trust with real money are two different things.
For those trading on MT5 with Libertex or elsewhere: would you trust an AI-generated EA?
@ohajielom This is the stuff you don’t really see in trading screenshots. Came across a similar point on Libertex recently too. The more seriously you take risk, the less you feel the need to constantly be in a trade.
The biggest shift in CFDs right now isn't leverage.
It's trust.
🇦🇺 Australia just pushed nearly AU$40M back to retail traders.
🇪🇺 ESMA is reminding firms that changing a product name doesn't change the rules.
Maybe transparency becomes the new competitive edge.
Thoughts?
🚨 THE S&P 500 IS MAKING THE SAME MOVE AGAIN
Since the April low:
📈 +20%
Now everyone wants in.
Late-stage rallies don't peak because they're overvalued.
They peak when FOMO replaces discipline.
Momentum is your friend.
"Just buy VOO and chill" has become the default advice.
It's hard to argue with an ETF that holds 500 of America's largest companies and has historically returned around 10% annually over the long run.
But is 100% U.S. exposure still enough?
@Danny_Crypton I see the channel. I don't see how that alone gets you an exact October bottom at $38k and January at $109k. Nice framework, but that's a lot of assumptions packed into one chart.
@Imdadnh One chart pattern isn't enough. Gold is still driven by the dollar, Treasury yields, and geopolitical headlines. Monday's price action will likely depend more on macro than on this setup.
US #inflation delivered its biggest positive surprise of 2026.
🇺🇸 June #CPI: 3.5% vs 3.9% expected
📉 Monthly CPI: -0.4%
Markets reacted fast:
📈 Stocks up
📉 Treasury yields down
🥇 Gold lower
Much of the drop came from cheaper energy. Brent rises. July CPI = the real test.
@BlogJulianKomar Rule #8. Stop trying to call tops and bottoms. Trade what's on the chart, not the story in your head. Saved me way more money than any indicator.
