@traveledenough@frankie2001mia@British_Airways Well said.
So many people saying ‘just make an announcement’.
That’s all good and well, but imagine taking a nap and being woken up by someone shouting ‘bomb!’ That announcement won’t make any difference then. 😂
@alexprismbreak@upthejunction28@BBCNews An announcement is a great idea, but what’s to stop someone freaking the heck out when they’re woken up mid flight to someone shouting ‘bomb’. Wouldn’t matter one iota that you’d already been told. 😂
@andy_pettitt@joshpearson180 Even if they’d made an announcement to the flight, imagine waking up to someone screaming bomb. It wouldn’t matter one bit in that moment that you’d already been told. 😂
@ModelCarMadness@Dawgis_@Samanth09611221 Exactly. I mean, if you REALLY wanted to do this, why wouldn’t you leave the draw solid, and have it so you just pull the draw out and sweep the contents into the bin? Would avoid the issue of smelling the dang nab garbage through the hole. 🤢
Or, just… Don’t do it?
@brendon_bowe@Racing What gets me is the people saying ‘it was a good ride’ or ‘you do what you need to do’.
Would they be of the same opinion had Deep Monster clipped the heels of Numbers and been brought down?
@melanietaylor2@RandaAFattah@thebigjohnnyd It does appear so. The couple that were thrown was still unnecessary in my opinion, but overall, they were doing just that, enforcing a move on order. Religion isn’t a free pass to ignore a lawful order.
@SolarBeam2Lunar@DillyHussain88 Not exactly. Correct me if I’m wrong, but looks like they’re enforcing a move along order? They’re pressuring everyone to move, not just those praying. You can’t use religion to ignore a lawful order. (And no, I’m not defending the genuine oversteps shown in some other clips).
@lajamfam@MichaelWestBiz The clip of the older gentleman is questionable, however some of the others, it looks like hyper vigilance. If you’re surrounded by a crowd/mob/whatever, and you catch a couple of them running towards you in your peripheral, you’re going to be defensive. Split second decisions.
