@MrEncouragement@vettenoob14@bradluttrell And if you took that driving course, they would cite these statistics when telling you that it’s safer to back into a parking spot. https://t.co/BLTtLqi3hv
@MrEncouragement@iMovingCanadian@bradluttrell It’s not. You’re backing out into traffic, and you can’t see until you get past the car next to you.
Backing in, you can see everything around you.
@Leprakon76@IMAO_@DavidDreil26702 I almost feel like it’s faster to back in.
Backing in, you can see pedestrians/cars a lot better, so when you go to back into the spot you’re more confident and faster when you know it’s clear.
Backing out, I’m creeping slowly until I can see past the car next to me.
@pjb438@Davsal62@IMAO_ Backing into a parking spot follows the EXACT same process as a 3 point turn.
If you can’t handle an extremely simple maneuver that 15 year olds with their learners permit have mastered, you probably shouldn’t be driving.
@JuanCarlosPTBO@kbuckpow@LewdsSeth@klara_sjo The end of the lane is supposed to be the merge point. If everyone follows basic traffic flow/patterns that are taught in drivers Ed, the scenario you laid out is not possible.
@kbuckpow@LewdsSeth@klara_sjo People slam on their breaks because they’re following too closely to the car in front of them. Leave a gap, and the car next to you can merge over and nobody needs to slow down.
@silverindow You’re right, they’re not there for shits and giggles.
They’re there to do a job and get paid, and that still happens whether 2 or 2000 people buy food from them.
@peter_on_health@RandyGoat The fact that you think a bullet went anywhere near him is hilarious lol
He ducked down, dripped some fake blood on his ear, and stood back up. No bullet wound, no scar, the piss poor secret service reaction, etc etc etc
