@whatneesaid @nilikm I don’t know how else to say this. Makes don’t make people sick. Viruses and bacteria do. Your argument makes no sense. No one said the flu disappeared. Certainly not I. But it wasn’t transmitted as much because masks work. We tested. The testing was/is accurate.

@whatneesaid @nilikm Also in influenza season, Covid swabs ( or nasopharyngeal swabs for viruses) are tested for both. This continued through the pandemic. Hence why we can say that resp issues coming through the doors was Covid and not flu.

@whatneesaid @nilikm In the hospital, we usually wear N95’s. But simple measures like slapping a mask on when we’re in rooms with others makes a difference.
