This was an amazing moment, fantastic to see our students take part in so many different ways and showing such respect, a breathtaking moment. #proudtobecarleton#RemembanceDay#community
Look at the wonderful art work created for Pontefract’s Liquorice Art Trail, by the young people of the town. More information will follow on how you can view this work.
Well done to the teachers and students involved.

In over 20 years of teaching Art and Design (and a significant portion of that as HoD) when I compare 2001/2 with 2023… it’s depressing. And that’s in a state school that has a relatively healthy (on the surface) art and design department. https://t.co/StxW5q24XL
@Mr_H1978 Yes, my mum always told me it was important to know it, so when I got it (I’m the printed card generation) I learnt it and can rattle it off no problem.
@PATCarletonHigh It was amazing, I only sat in an hour of it, but that hour was so informative and inspiring I know the students will take a lot away from it!
A dear colleague died yesterday. She taught me so much and I owe my early career to her. A brilliant teacher in so many ways. There’s nothing like Miss Lynda Ross 💜 https://t.co/Z8tPi64QFT
@TheJaneMcDonald@channel5_tv@TheJaneMcDonald loved the series so far, we’ve been ‘following’ you around by visiting a place from each episode at the weekends, I’ve lived in Barnsley 12 years and haven’t been to some of the places!
