@moneyballXI@labstamil when the theories itself doesn't have proof or reference, what do you expect to debunk? they should show proof first for others to counter
Summarizing Paarisaalan's arguments in his recent debate with Politalks Vignesh. Think for yourself if any of this makes sense:
> Shiva is a human, totally unrelated to Murugar
> Vinayaka is worshipped as a symbolic concept, not related to Murugar in any way
> Murugar is an ancient king of Kumari Kandam, riding an elephant named Pinimugam
> Kumari Kandam geography is unclear, but King Murugar was born in Tamilnadu only
> King Murugar achieved something great for Tamils, but we don't know what exactly
> We Tamils only have memory of his name and his tribal wife's name Valli
> We worship our ancestor Murugar as Kurinji lord who was deified later
> Tolkappiyam is the source for associating Murugar with Kurinji, same verse that mentions Maayon and Indran and Varunan are interpolations
> Fair skinned Aryan Brahmins came from Steppe plains into India by 1000 BCE
> Their Steppe women intermingled with dark skinned locals here resulting in mixed complexions of Tamils
> Ambedkar was wrong about Aryan Invasion Theory being unscientific as today's geneticists have proved it
> Every piece of Sangam Literature has Aryan influences
> But Tolkappiyam is older than Sanskrit
> Same Tolkappiyam that predates Aryan arrival does not give any mention about pre-Aryan arrival King Murugar
> Tirumurugaatrupadai was composed during 2CE and it has both Aryan and pre-Aryan Tamil references
> So Nakkeerar's references for Muruga as son of Shiva and having 6 faces and 12 hands is Aryan influence, same Nakkeerar's reference for Muruga worship in tribes with no-vegetarian offerings is pure Tamil reference
> Hence, cutting goat in Tiruparankundram Dargah should be welcomed by Tamils
> Similarly, Purananooru descriptions of Murugar's valiant bravery on battlefield are pre-Aryan, but same verse calling it as a battle against Puranic Soorapadman is Aryan influence
> Puranic stories were all written to insult Murugar, his real story is awesome but we don't know what it is
> King Murugar is also a Siddhar
> But words of Siddhars like Sivavaakiyar Tirumoolar Vallalaar enforcing vegetarianism don't apply because Siddhar Murugar was a non-vegetarian ancestor king
> Ancestor King Murugar who became a god later should be worshipped only in Tamil, with hero stones
> His temples are all Aryanized and controlled by HRCE which is full of Brahmins, but these Aryanized temple should conduct Kudamuzhuku in Tamil
> Source: Trust me bro
Politalks vs Paarisaalan debate peaked here!
Paari finally admits there is no Sangam literary evidence for his claim that our God Murugar is a Mupaatan (human ancestor)!
So Paari's basically saying "trust me bro" as his source.
Well done Politalks!
Don't relax looking at Sonam ending his fast and the govt proactively doing things to address many issues.
The DS will push more, I am sure. Looking at the patterns of instigation and sloganeering, my intuition says the real instigators are planning something big, bad, and bayankar on Aug 15th.
I wish and hope I am wrong. Let the protests end peacefully asap.
But, imo, every important place - not just the parliament, president's house, and I-day venue, but media houses, residences of politicians, courts, etc must be fortified with extra security for sometime.
Why I feel so?
Because the classic DS pattern in creating anarchy is clearly seen by now. And in the name of "Azadi" and "Andolan" the young of India are being instigated using social media and peer pressure to:
- Hate the government
- Hate all politicians (including opposition)
- Hate the media
- Hate the police
- Hate the judiciary
Some of them are being instilled with so much hate creating extreme radicals with no reasoning. They are making a small set of young people, out of hundreds of millions, to hate India itself.
But this small set of few thousands is enough. They can, using these highly radicalized, storm our institutions and burn India, make the govt react, and use that reaction to try a regime change.
Media, judiciary, police, and PM who are being unfairly accused, abused, vilified, and harassed etc must not take this lightly. If India doesn't apply broken windows theory and fix these transgressions, more will do it until breaking point.
Of India itself.
Secularism doesn't mean Muslim politicians de-circumcise, Hindu politicians avoid applying thiruneeru/wear Poonal, Christian politicians don't wear a cross!
It means they will not be biased and influenced by religion and religious interests and practices.
Argentina have been hammering England players with studs for the first 40 minutes without a card. However the minute Anderson touched Messi the ref gets a yellow card card out ๐คฏ

Nakkeerar. Avvaiyaar. Kachiyappa Shivacharyar. Arunagirinadhar. Siddhar Bogar. Pamban Swamigal. Devaraya Swamigal. Kirubandha Vaariyar.
So you're telling me that all these saints, mystics and devout poets over a period of 20 centuries missed the real identity of Murugan and it finally took a Seeman, Arivumathi and Paarisalan to see the truth about Murugar? Huh?
If you had a single Muruga Bhakti cell functioning in your body, you wouldn't be desacralizing a God who's so dear to our land just for your petty politics.
๐กBeing Tamil is an ethnic and linguistic identity, not a religious entitlement. Tamil Muslims ane Christians are unquestionably Tamil, but being Tamil alone does not make anyone authority to redefine Hindu beliefs about Lord Murugan.
Murugan has deep roots in Tamil culture, but he is also a living deity worshipped within Hindu tradition. Arguments about Sanskritization may be legitimate subjects of historical study, but they do not erase his Hindu religious identity across India or make Hindu devotion to him an act of appropriation.
Just as being Arab does not automatically make someone Muslim...Arabs may be Muslim, Christian, Jewish or follow another religion, being Tamil does not automatically make someone a worshipper or religious representative of Murugan. Ethnicity and religion are related in some communities, but they are not interchangeable.
Period.
