@ajoneswilkins@AravaipaRunning@Cocodona250 My honest opinion: I believe in the “no outside assistance outside of aid stations” rule. The rules apply to every runner, front or back of pack.
But also: this is an incredible showcase of willpower, and I wouldn’t want to be the RD giving him a DQ or DNF.
@QuinnyPig At least this part:
"No employee gets paid more than the minimal amount of cash. In Seattle or other “non-premium markets” that means $160k. In SF and NY—the “premium markets”—that can get to $185k."
This got updated in 2022.
@FanAmpFantasyHQ I haven't made the switch yet, but thinking in the same direction - main difference being Ocon vs Bearman.
My changes would be LEC -> COL // BEA --> HUL // VRB --> MER
@mhuber1122@Brady_H If the medal is more important for you than finishing the entire marathon and you can live with it, go for it.
Me personally, I'd never do it. I've run 80 miles of a 100 miler and DNFd. I wouldn't have taken the buckle even if they offered it.
@taggartvanetten This is me on my morning bike commute.
Wake up - piece of toast with PB banana and coffee.
Easily 5-10bpm difference between going/coming home, same effort.
@HankFrank@foundmyfitness A guy I follow on Instragram had a post about this: https://t.co/jlBIYMJ82J
"the young athletes slept 24 minutes longer and improved their sleep efficiency by 4.8% with the later meal timing"
