I believe in a big tent Democratic Party… but not this big.
Democrats and Democratic elected officials need to stop embracing candidates who espouse antisemitism, promote antisemitic conspiracies, and traffic in antisemitic symbolism.

Around 10:30am today, a swastika was found carved into the hood of a car on the Upper East Side. This horrific, antisemitic symbol continues to appear across our city. Sadly, this isn’t the first time it’s been discovered in my district.
Those responsible intend to cause fear among Jewish New Yorkers and division among all of us — but we refuse to let antisemitism be normalized. The City Council is committed to investments in Holocaust education, protections for houses of worship and schools, and improvements to hate crime reporting systems.
We’re in touch with the NYPD, which is investigating this incident.
More than a month after his murder in Kissena Park, I joined the family of Albert Itzkowitz to announce they’re doubling the $10K reward offered by Crimestoppers to $20K for information leading to the arrest of the perpetrator. If you saw something, please call (800) 577-8477.
Someone knows what happened in Kissena Park, and we urge anyone with information—no matter how insignificant it may seem—to come forward.
The Itzkowitz family deserves justice, and our community deserves accountability.
Fresh off her feature in the NY Times, Stephanie Lasher, Micah Lasher's mom, is campaigning for him on the UWS this morning.
"I'm proud he wants to serve in this way. If he were to win, I’d just be very happy to know that my Congressman is someone I think is terrific.”
