"October 7th victims" / "Palestinian civilians." Israelis are victims, fullstop, soldiers included. Palestinians must be qualified. Every Israeli is mourned. Palestinians who resisted are left out. Talk to a liberal zionist long enough, and they justify killing the Palestinians.
DAC is absolutely right to call for the disbandment of the NYPD’s Strategic Response Group and the resignation of Jessica Tisch. These are demands that organizers in the streets have been making for years, and it’s long past time they became nonnegotiable.
The NYPD cannot claim to protect New Yorkers while acting as the enforcement arm of ICE, brutalizing protesters, and shielding federal agents from accountability.
Any elected official who claims to represent a progressive agenda should be publicly demanding, at minimum, the abolition of ICE, the disbandment of the SRG, and Tisch’s immediate resignation.
This is the absolute floor. We don’t need more statements of concern or performative outrage from politicians who refuse to confront the institutions carrying out this violence. We need them to take a side, publicly and unequivocally.
He endorsed perhaps the most prominent Zionist in Congress to be speaker of the house, and doubled down after said Zionist took a private meeting with Jared Kushner. He also broke precedent & retained Adams’ Zionist billionaire police commissioner.
🗣️FUCK 👏THAT 👏 SCHOOL 👏Northwestern tried and failed to title IX me because 🗣️ I 👏HATE 👏ISRAEL 👏so they HELD MY HOUSING FINANCIAL AID so I had NOWHERE TO LIVE the first 3/10weeks of the quarter. then they violated a LAW that REQUIRES them to tell homeless students the resources available to them. Then when I, understandably, struggled in my classes that quarter, I took an incomplete in one course. Admin used my incomplete to put me on academic probation on a technicality. The next quarter, when I had a breakdown and failed my classes, they used the fact that I failed a class while on academic probation to suspend me for a year. I attempted suicide soon after and was diagnosed with PTSD. Then, with the help of both a psychologist and social worker, I tried to appeal my suspension and instead take medical leave, so that I could keep my health insurance for the full-time partial hospitalization I needed after my attempt. I promised to take medical leave for the same length as the suspension. They denied my appeal, their reason being that if I was so mentally ill, I wouldn't have been at the Palestine encampment. Incidentally, I documented the encampment on my social media, posting videos and photos that were then used in international news articles that Northwestern found unflattering. So they denied my appeal and terminated my insurance, knowing I would have to discharge immediately and that my care team still considered me a high suicide risk. Fuck Northwestern, fuck zionists, fuck Israel, FREE PALESTINE
Reminder that according to the “Israeli” police and military themselves, as reported by “Israeli” media, not a single verified case of rape was recorded on Oct 7.
its sometimes easy to forget but the resistance fighters are all just children who were robbed off their childhood, growing up in apartheid, and living thru genocide. long live the resistance. may allah accept them all.
Zionists routinely disrupt pro-Palestinian events, protests, and vigils, yet these politicians have nothing to say. Where was their outrage last week when Betar members disrupted Mahmoud Khalil’s book launch?
The material gain is a pothole was filled, while the library got defunded. 😒 the solidarity is nurses being forced to work 24 hr shifts and a BILLION dollars in overtime for the NYPD! Sweeps restarted and a MILLION dollars to protect illegal land sales.
Brad Lander calls himself a liberal Zionist and opposes BDS.
Under Brad Lander, NYC pension funds increased their holdings in Israeli weapons manufacturer Elbit Systems.
Brad Lander publicly praised those investments and said, “Of course, we’re not going to divest from them.”
Brad Lander found out this evening that condemning genocide doesn’t exempt an elected official from scrutiny of his own record.
Zionists achieved the maximalist of all maximalist demands: US cross-party support for genocide. But according to the liberal theory of politics the left should have very strict boundaries for how far their demands can go in redressing the balance
RIGHT NOW: Zohran Mamdani stands on the Israeli side of an October 7 vigil while Palestinian organizers and supporters of Palestinian liberation directly protest him.
Another politician at the vigil is Brad Lander, who increased NYC pension holdings in Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest weapons manufacturer, as their weapons were used to annihilate Palestinians at the height of the Gaza genocide.
Meanwhile, students across NYC are walking out of classrooms demanding an end to the city’s complicity in Israel’s genocide of Palestinians.
Mamdani campaigned on solidarity with Palestine. Now the movement is confronting him over the gap between that solidarity and his political decisions. This is not a hypothetical contradiction or a disagreement over rhetoric. It is a confrontation over where political power is being exercised, whose demands are being accommodated, and whose are being dismissed.
Solidarity is measured by what you do with power, not what you say to obtain it.

Genuinely not as disappointed in Mamdani as I am at all those who refuse to hold elected officials feet to the fire.
He has absolutely no incentive to deliver on the demands of the Palestine movement if we don’t relentlessly make those demands. Meanwhile, Zionist organizations are doing exactly that, applying pressure and getting more and more of what they want, while people who claim to be on the left or support Palestine tell us our strategy should be to shut up.
It’s absurd. You see that political pressure works. You see Zionist organizations using it to advance their interests. Yet somehow when Palestinians do that, in the context of a genocide no less, we’re accused of doing AIPAC’s job for them.
There is nothing Zionist organizations would like more than for the Palestine liberation movement to silence ourselves while politicians endlessly cater to their demands.
But what infuriates me even more is being lectured by Americans whose tax dollars are funding the weapons slaughtering my people. People who not only refuse to hold their own politicians accountable or do more to stop the genocide, but have the audacity to tell Palestinians to shut up about it.
You don’t get to sit comfortably in the country financing the slaughter of our people, refuse to hold your own politicians accountable, and then lecture us about how we’re allowed to resist it.
Your annual reminder that there is ZERO evidence of rapes on Oct 7.
-ZERO cross-examined witness testimonies.
-ZERO reports of rape survivors recieving treatment in nearby hospitals.
-ZERO autopsies confirming rapes on any of the dead.
-ZERO footage of any caught on tape.
