Cruelties to elephants are exceeding limits day by day in Kerala ,be it of native or wild.If this is the plight of temple elephants then imagine the condition of others.The handlers should be booked immediately for cruelty and also CCTV is must where elephants are maintained.

Forest watchers throwing fire crackers on elephants in Kuruva Island in Wayanad, Kerala where elephants use to visit regularly for drinking water. This happened inside the forest and not in any human settlement area. @KeralaForest

Elephants who come to drink water at Kurua Island in Wayanad Kerala are not allowed to drink water and are chased away by bursting firecrackers by the forest watchers.This is the main cause of human animal conflict,they didn't getting enough food and water @Manekagandhibjp

Again,an elephant called Chullikomban was killed with an electric fence in Kerala yesterday. This elephant never caused any problems .Killing of wild animals in many ways is more common in Kerala now a days.

Happenings from 3rd Feb in Kerala.Thanneerkomban was mercilessly killed by KFD , Guruvayoor elephants torture,then an elephant Krishnankutty lost one of his tusk in an accident,now cruel KFD is all set to capture an elephant which has gone inside deep forest. #SaveArikomban.

Elephants rarely attack people unless provoked or hungry. It must have been provoked so killed a person [e-mail] intervene to prevent the Kerala Forest Department from tranquilizing the elephant which has already gone inside deep forest in Karnataka?@rashtrapatibhvn

Srilankan researchers found that no elephants will remain in translocated area and surely they will try to travel back to their habitat. But as per ur info, #Arikomban remains in upper kodayar area, where he had been translocated, #WHY .

Forests are not at all a money making racket for humans.This is the very reason why elephants & wild animals come into human settlements in search of food. Forest authority must look into this and ensure the natural habitats are restored so that food chain is ensured for wild.

Please prevent Kerala Forest Department from tranquilizing the Belur Makhna elephant .It's not a killer as it is made out to be , it was provoked by people that it had to kill for its self defense. We don't want another #Thanneerkomban episode. @PMOIndia @moefcc @pfaindia

Why is the hurry to dart and capture #BelurMakhna at night which is against rules. Fact is he was provoked by mob throwing crackers on him, which led him to retaliate & kill one person. Now that it has moved away deep into forest can't KFD leave him alone? @PMOIndia @CMOKerala

Bear, Leopard, Elephants, tiger.....Very distressing that no authority is probing deaths of the animals happening as soon as they are captured by KFD . Need intervention from centre else all animals will soon be wiped out by these evil people in the name of capturing .@moefcc

KFD hunters killed another tiger, they r after a poor elephant Belur Magna to kill him. Animal_lovers protests have no effect .Court is reluctant to intervene,know why ? Animals don't have vote. People of Kerala says HUMANS r the custodians of 🌎.
