Of the many things I love about living in the NCR is all of the cool events I have the opportunity to attend. I need to get into the habit of posting about it more.
This past week I attended an event at @ItalyinCanada in lieu of ​the Week of the Italian Language in the World.

Some were born and raised in Italy while some have only visited. Some are mothers and grandmothers and some are single. Some only know a few words of Italian, while others are fluent. But they each have a discerning perspective on what it means to live with two cultures.

Yesterdays announcement from the Federal Government regarding the Canada Public Transit Fund, the largest public transit investment in Canadian history, was welcome news for all municipalities.

The fund will ensure consistent and sustainable infrastructure dollars that municipalities can rely on to help meet growing transit needs.

Edmontonians rely on public transit to help them get to work, school and their day to day necessities. Transit helps manage congestion and provides transportation options throughout the city.
