For the Faithful! 49ers centric page with idiosyncratic views from a football geek. NFL Draft obsessed. Self proclaimed 49ers historian. Shanahan believer.
What’s the #1 factor in winning games in the NFL? It’s no longer the TO margin(59%), it’s the EXPLOSIVES ratio(61%). KC Concepcion has those explosive traits, plus top tier ball skills. He’s going to be a very good pro receiver, so He’s a good option for #49ers at 27.
Cowherd tried as hard as he could to lead the witness w/a ridiculously leading question, but Cosell wasn't buying it and just crushed his entire "Purdy sucks" narrative in one answer. Beautiful. Just absolutely owned him.
Ji’Ayir Brown for Malachi Corley?
Corley would be a nice pick up for the 49ers since Brown is expendable with Sigle looking like a starter. Whatcha think faithful?
My dream day #2 of #NFLDraft2025 for the #49ers
#43-Jaylin Noel, Luther Burden, Or Tre Harris
#75-Anthony Belton or Charles Grant
#100-Aeneas Peebles or Sai'vion Jones
The 11th pick of the NFL Draft should be one of these 10 players…
Mason Graham
Jalon Walker
Mykel Williams
Walter Nolen
Shamar Stewart
Derrick Harmon
Armand Membou
Kelvin Banks
Kenneth Grant
Mike Green
Brock Purdy says about 40% of the time he’s not able to see his intended target on throws downfield due to the size of the linemen in front of him (which is typical for most QBs who aren’t very tall). He talks about how important it is knowing coverages, scheme, and knowing where his receivers are supposed to be…

Notes from Stanford Pro Day:
- 49ers John Lynch & Leonard Hankerson appeared to show plenty of interest in WR Elic Ayomanor
- Lynch and Ayomanor chatted as they watched others run 40’s - Elic only ran routes
- Lynch requested a specific route, Hankerson coached him up on the fly (video) no other scout/coach requested this
- Was told Lynch has shown interest in Ayomanor for a couple of years
My first 49ers mock draft after a few weeks of studying available prospects.
Could’ve easily flipped OT in the 1st and DL in the 2nd, but this is how I went with it:
1. James Pearce Jr. (EDGE)
Pearce is a special athlete who, paired with Bosa, would be a nightmare for opposing offensive lines. His explosiveness and frame should make him one of the best defensive prospects in the class.
2. Donovan Jackson (OL)
Jackson would be an instant-impact guard and has the versatility to transition to tackle if/when Trent Williams retires. A high-upside pick with positional flexibility.
3. Savion Williams (WR)
Could’ve gone in multiple directions here, but I’m betting on his elite athletic traits translating to the next level. Needs to clean up drops, but the potential is real.
4. Andrew Mukuba (S)
Mukuba could be an absolute steal in this draft. A true playmaker in the secondary—think Brian Branch in terms of playmaking and instincts.
5. Nohl Williams (CB)
One of the most productive CBs in college football this year. With his ball production and instincts, I’d gladly take a shot at him at this point.
6. Mitchell Evans (TE)
A very reliable pass-catcher from a program that consistently develops NFL TE talent.
7. CJ West (IDL)
Has the natural leverage, burst, and motor to develop into a productive rotational DT in the 49ers’ system. Worth taking a swing on here.
8. Ollie Gordon (RB)
A high-upside back who was widely considered the best RB in college football before a down year. Great value at this stage of the draft.
9. Tyler Shough (QB)
One of the few QBs who stood out at the Senior Bowl. At this point in the draft, I think he’s worth a shot as a developmental QB.
Give me your thoughts ⬇️
Lions' Aidan Hutchinson is named NFC Defensive Player of the Month with 6.5 sacks, 16 tackles, 6 tackles for loss and 1 forced fumble.
Meanwhile, 49ers' Fred Warner had 2 interceptions, 1 TD, 27 tackles, 1 for loss, 3 forced fumbles, 4 passes defensed and 1 sack in Sept.
