"We don't give space to be wrong. We don't give space to be an apprentice, we don't give space to learn. Everyone has to be a sr. software engineer. I can promise any company that only hires sr. software engineers you don't have sr. Software Engineers"

@cariefisher Both. We do a bunch of eLearning development and there don't seem to be a ton of frameworks/resources for accessibility building or testing. The authoring tools seem to be the ones that provide guidance.
A6 - Adopting a “Teacher Leader” mindset and practice is one way for teachers to do this! Share resources, be a mentor, share expertise, encourage exchanges & foreign languages, incorporate global issues into everyday curriculum. #globaledchat
@NEAFoundation A6: Teachers have to be a key piece of creating a school/district/state vision on global ed, bc they are the boots-on-the-ground who will make it happen. We started with a listening tour of our city, and made certain teacher voice was a huge part of that. #globaledchat
Global Ed teacher-leaders support peers and learners by creating transformative classrooms through experiences/expertise sharing. (A1) #GlobalEdChat#globaled18
How about an open curriculum repository for globaled that allows educators to not only draw from but also facilitates discussion? Many resources and networks are scattered, require registration, and are not sustainable in developing nations. #edtechchat
