ವಿಧಾನಸೌಧದ ಸಮಿತಿ ಕೊಠಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸ್ಥಾಯಿ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆದು ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸೂಚನೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

- ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ನೀಡಿದ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯಂತೆ, ಬಂಡಿಪುರ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಗರಹೊಳೆ ಪರಿಸರ ಪ್ರವಾಸೋದ್ಯಮ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಫಾರಿ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಲಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಚಿರತೆಗಳ ಸಾಂದ್ರತೆಯು, ಮಾನವ–ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಸಂಘರ್ಷ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿರುವ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳಿಗಿಂತ ಅಧಿಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರವಾಸಿಗರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗೆ ಯಾವುದೇ ಧಕ್ಕೆಯಾಗದಂತೆ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಮುನ್ನೆಚ್ಚರಿಕೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುರಕ್ಷತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕಟ್ಟುನಿಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಪಾಲಿಸಿ ಸಫಾರಿ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆರಂಭಿಸಲು ಸಮ್ಮತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

- ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಮೇಕೆದಾಟು ಯೋಜನೆಗೆ ಸಣ್ಣಪುಟ್ಟ ನೆಪಗಳನ್ನು ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟು ಸುಪ್ರೀಂಕೋರ್ಟ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ತಕರಾರು ಮಾಡಲು ತಮಿಳುನಾಡು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೂಕ್ಷ್ಮವಾಗಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸಿ, ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಲು ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

- ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಸುರಕ್ಷತೆಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡಿ ಅಪಾಯಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿರುವ ಮರಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಕೊಂಬೆಗಳನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಅವುಗಳ ತೆರವಿಗೆ ತುರ್ತು ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಆದೇಶಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಣ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವನ್ಯಜೀವಿ ಸಂರಕ್ಷಣೆಯ ರಾಯಭಾರಿಗಳಾದ ಶ್ರೀ ಅನೀಲ್‌ ಕುಂಬ್ಳೆ ಅವರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಹಿರಿಯ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
